Did you know this about Leicester City players and managers?

Former Leicester City manager and assistant manager Peter Taylor and Colin Lee both played a key role in the 9-0 battering of Bristol Rovers back in 1977. Lee hit four goals in his debut and Taylor scored the last goal of the game.

Peter Taylor was signed into football by former Leicester City great Arthur Rowley, who was in charge at Southend United at the time. Don Revie gave Taylor his debut for England and Jimmy Bloomfield signed him up to join Leyton Orient.

Dion Dublin scored his last goal in the Premier League v. Leicester City at The Walkers back in January 2004, the 5-0 win on the day also included two goals scored by Darius Vassell. Dublin signed for Leicester City the summer after and scored his next goal at the very same stadium winning 2-0 v. Rotherham United.

As many as three winners of the Arsenal “The Double” in 1970/71 appeared for Leicester City, Eddie Kelly, George Armstrong and Frank McLintock were all at Filbert Street during their days in football.

The only Norwegian to have played for Leicester City is Kjetil Osvold, going back 33 years, being involved in four single games before his loan move ended and he returned to Nottingham Forest.

Brian Deane is the first goalscorer at King Power Stadium, he was also the first goalscorer in the Premier League. Kevin Phillips is the oldest goalscorer and Mark Schwarzer the oldest debutant.
