Leicester City in interesting transfer links, as other moves looks more and more unlikely

Demarai Gray and Hamza Choudhury both missed from the game v. Southampton and rumours are still out there, but as the days goes by, both players might see their moves silently fade away, with Newcastle, Leeds, West Bromwich and Southampton either waiting for a summer bid, or just decided to find new players, you can look up the player West Bromwich is considering as their best option so far, and it’s not Hamza Choudhury.

Demarai Gray is no longer a target for Tottenham and a move to Newcastle would also be a surprise. Southampton are said to be eager to get Gray on their books, but will wait until the summer as the player then is a free agent and can be signed for free. Leeds are also in the mix. But it’s not 100% unlikely that something will happen, but it looks a bit off the radar at the moment.

There could be a possible move out for a few others as players such as Mitch Clark and Darragh O’Connor both able to cope will with most tiers of league football. Clark has been a in and out of the club with a loan spell at Port Vale cut short lately. O’Connor would be interesting to see in first team action for a club in a lower league.

Eldin Jakupovic has been linked with a move to Preston North End, but seeing Daniel Iversen joining them, it looks unlikely that this rumour will be something to listen to. Leicester need three full senior goalkeepers with Polish youth international Jakub Stolarczyk a fourth goalkeeper at the club, but to see Brendan Rodgers off loading two goalkeepers to Preston North End in this January transfer window looks a bit of the odds.

Aston Villa are favorites to win the race for a former Leicester City target, who looks likely to get his chance in the Premier League. You can also look up why a Championship club looks unlikely to let one of their top talents and best players leave for Leicester this January.

Swedish international Mattias Svanberg looks more likely to join AC Milan from Bologna than being on his way to England and Leicester. But the rumour is hanging and we cannot take it off the list completely, but to see a new Swede at King Power in this January window might not be what we would bet on.

Odsonne Edouard might be a target for Leicester, but the move will with 100% certainty not happen in this transfer window, but in the summer and then Arsenal are considered the top favorite to win the race for the highly rated SPL star.

Patrick Bamford is also suggested as a possible target and a player that would suit perfect for Leicester City, but we just have to wait for that one, but the former Nottingham Forest player would of course be an interesting man looking forward if he is interested to move on.
