Marc Albrighton has made his commitment to the club and signed a contract extension lasting to 2024. He has been a great servant to the club and easy to forget him and looking at Kasper Schmeichel and Jamie Vardy as those left from the great days of the PL win.
With Wes Morgan and Christian Fuchs both leaving this summer the group of players from the days of the PL win are fewer and fewer. Albrighton (31) will then be with the club and see other young and new recruits coming through.

He is a grand player, a role model and a person that has shown his consistency and come back being out of the team at times and never complained, a through and through full professional and always polite and smiling when meeting him, as we have done a few times.

All the best to Marc on the next season and hopefully he will be in and around the first team for all his seasons left as his flank contribution makes a difference to a team that possess so many other qualities with those other options, but Marc’s passing and hard work ethic is a valuable piece in the toolbox of Brendan Rodgers.
