Marc Albrighton spent the end of last season on loan at West Brom, and was blamed for ruining Christmas for James Maddison and other Leicester players, taking with him the kitty of penalty fines to The Hawthorns. If he still is in charge of this kitty, he could take it with him again, and this time, not coming back.

Sheffield Wednesday are one of the clubs describing Albrighton’s type as ideal, being a player that can keep the ball up and get passes into the box.

In a recent poll, Marc Albrighton is placed as 12/1 to join The Owls. We all know he is well settled in the Midland area and would of course consider his options with limited minutes of playing time so far under Enzo Maresca. If he receives an offer he will not be held back as his contract will most certainly not be renewed after this season.

Coventry, Stoke and Birmingham are other clubs who could identify Marc Albrighton as an option. He would be a good addition for those three, if he was approached.

Would be a surprise to see him hanging around, if a move becomes possible. Looking at his options so far it would be a surprise if Enzo Maresca would call on him more in the latter stages of the season.

He has played 232 league game for Leicester, and he will get a few more if staying on until the summer, he will turn 35 in a year and together with Jamie Vardy the only players left from the massive PL league victory almost eight years ago.
