Sad to see Wilfred Ndidi missing action for three months with a muscle problem identified. He has been replaced in the Nigeria AFCON squad as well, so a difficult time for the versatile midfielder.

He has this season shined in a more offensive role as Harry Winks has come in to set the pace and running the engine room, and this has really made us look at Ndidi with different eyes.

Dennis Praet is the player to call for with this in mind, as well as Cesare Casadei, who was the one doing the job in the last game vs. Huddersfield, but still not been too convincing when given minutes by Enzo Maresca.

Ndidi will be out of contract in the summer, and with this injury problem turning up, not likely a transfer target for anyone in January, but will Leicester identify players to bring in during January to boost their squad.

Leander Dendoncker is a player seen as a possible January mover, with Aston Villa said to be willing to let him leave. The Belgian international has been strongly linked to Real Sociedad. The former Anderlecht and Wolves man with 32 Belgian caps to his name, is a player that can be of good for Leicester.

Leicester needs to bolster their squad with quality players, with abiity to stay on and be part of a Premier League set up next season, then this is a type of player that Leicester need, going forward.

We will wait and see if Leander Dendoncker will be linked with Leicester, but surely one to look for as he is in the neighbourhood and available.
