Jens Petter Hauge made history yesterday. He was in the Bodo Glimt team defeating Lazio over two games after a dramatic game. He missed his attempt in the penalty shoot out, but luckily three other Bodo Glimt players had a better day. Bodo Glimt will be the first Norwegian team ever to appear in a European club tournament semi-final.
Jens Petter Hauge, was mentioned at this website, as a potential Leicester signing five years ago. Later, he became a special AC Milan signing. Eventually, he was a Europa League winner with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Following football in Scandinavia over many years provides a special insight. This makes it easy to see what is working or not. Having in-depth knowledge of all four top leagues in England also helps.
We have pinpointed several moves we would like to see happening at Leicester. Ademola Lookman joined Leicester on loan. He was suggested at this site a few days earlier. There were no previous links seen to the player.
Jens Petter Hauge has qualities to be a great success in English football. He can move forward at high speed with his special ball control. This gives him an advantage in every attacking situation. Yesterday he shined in the game with high quality passes, also having Lazio defenders frustrated.
If they hold on vs. Lazio tonight, our former Jens Petter Hauge ❤️🖤 and his Bodø/Glimt 💛 side will be the first Norwegian 🇳🇴 team to ever make it to a Europa League Semifinal. 🏆

Leicester looks to other markets for players. They are seldom in the area for potential bargains. Leicester often opts for the obvious choice in every situation. This will long term see them lose out on potential bargains to sell on for a major profit. Previous scouting regimes at Leicester made it possible to act on unknown and not obvious players. Also often with a bargain price. This was especially true under the scouting management of Steve Walsh.
Leicester cannot continue to pay inflated prices for players. These players do not have the ability to progress from their current level. Harry Winks, Conor Coady, and Jordan Ayew are three current examples. They were signed with their only reason to join Leicester being the paycheck.
