Iceland had only pride to play for. Leicester midfielder Lhin Eiriksdottir came on in the 72nd minute, she scored in the 76th minute. She and her Iceland team mates fought until the end. Iceland took an early lead, but Norway were strong and scored four goals before a late run from Eiriksdottir and here teammates did see a 3-4 scoreline in the end. Lhin Eiriksdottir most be proud of her performances as she returns to training with Leicester.

Finland played Switzerland in their last group game. Hopes were high when Finland took the lead in the 79th minute. Jutta Rantala had just come on from the subs bench, entering the field in the 72nd minute.

Finland and Jutta Rantala fought for their quarter final ticket, but it was not to happen. Switzerland equalized far into stoppage time, securing that point seeing them through to the quarters.

Belgium will play Portugal tonight. Leicester players Sari Kees and Janice Cayman could both be in action tonight. Belgium has not managed to pick up points yet, but tonight they have their best chance.

Wales, with Hannah Cain and Olivia Clark in their squad, will face England in their last outing of the tournament. They are playing their final fixture of the tournament on Sunday the 13th of July. Wales have their pride to play for and hopefully we will see Cain on the field, facing a difficult challenge.
