Sammy Braybrooke and Nathan Opoku made their debuts for Newport this afternoon. Bristol Rovers were the oppoenents with Brad Young in goal. The game ended in a 3-2 win to The Pirates. Opoku came on as a second half sub, in the 64th minute. He scored one of the Newport goals. Braybrooke in the starting line-up, leaving the field in the 86th minute.
Oliver Norburn was in the starting line-up for Notts County in their 1-0 home win vs. Fleetwood at home. Jayden Joseph came on for Tranmere in their 1-3 away defeat to Salford. Vontae Daley-Campbell and his Chesterfield had to see defeat away to Walsall. The Saddlers won 1-0 scoring their goal in the 43rd minute.
A new solid 1-0 win at home for Robbie Savage and his Forest Green Rovers. They are top of the league with 20 points after 6 wins and 2 draws. Hartlepool was the opponent today.
