Ricardo Pereira again out of the team. Why this is happening is so frustrating. It might be a fancy idea of the captain not being able to play two games in so short time, but it is so frustrating.

Hamza Choudhury was the replacement. A totally different player with other attributes as the team becomes very different in movement and positioning.

Jordan James and Oliver Skipp appear to have formed a midfield unit. This unit can be used as a backbone in this team going forward. However, they had problems early on at Ashton Gate.

Leicester did not have the advantage from start, but it looked controlled. Then in an attacking moment after 17 minutes Stephy Mavididi was taken down inside the penalty area. The referee went for his whistle and marked for a penalty. Jordan Ayew converted from the mark, Leicester were 1-0 up.

Having the lead was, of course, splendid. However, it was not the quality you would like to see. With Pereira missing, you have no real threat from the backline. No one really going forward with the pace needed to give this team that little extra.

Then almost at the end of the first half, Abdul Fatawu managed to get forward. He took his opportunity and ran from two Bristol City defenders. He passed splendidly to Bobby De Cordova-Reid. Bobby made a fantastic finish from inside the penalty area. Leicester were 2-0 up after 41 minutes.

Leicester finish the first half with a 2-0 lead, and things looked bright as we waited for second half. We believed it would be a new half with positives. What we witnessed became more close to a nightmare.

Bristol City came out of the blocks with high speed and belief they could get back in the game. Then to score in their first attack, makes this almost unbelievable to watch. Leicester suddenly looks like an amateur team with no ideas. No players make a hard and well-placed tackle. Instead they look like headless chickens running around in random directions.

They were not prepared at all. Then you get another shocker from Marti Cifuentes. Taking off Jordan James and replacing him with Patson Daka. This might be an injury. Why is Louis Page not given a chance to play? He is the only midfield option on the bench.

Where is Harry Winks?, is he not available and are Leicester losing points today because he is not even on the bench. What is going on? Winks could have been a player to put on when there are no other options. It looks like a suicide act by the manager to leave him out.

Leicester makes more changes as Hamza Choudhury is moving up in the midfield, giving minutes to Olabade Aluko. Leicester struggles even more and have nothing at all in the second half. Then in the 83rd minute, Bristol City scored their equalizer, and Leicester have given away a 2-0 lead.

The players on the field for Leicester manage to at least get one point of this nightmare second half, and in the end looking at the result, not as bad is it is, when you have watched how this team is losing momentum. There are no leaders in this team to take action when things are sliding downhill.

Positives
- Brilliant start to the game, 2-0 lead after first half is very solid
- Jacub Stolarczyk having a solid game, being there to save the team
- Jordan James and Oliver Skipp looked to have a momentum in the first half
- Being able to at least bring home a point, not losing it all in a nightmare second half
Negatives
- None of the players looks to take the leadership when things are falling apart
- Why are Ricardo and Faes on the bench when they are not to use, strange and not to understand
- Hamza Choudhury at right back, stop this nonsense, he is not coping at all
- Why do Leicester have captains being thrown in and out of the team, it looks very very strange
- This is so messy and far from understandable, no plan, just random work
- Giving away a 2-0 lead, giving away every ball and all possession second half
- Looked like amateurs second half, far from acceptable
- Again so dissappointed with Marti Cifunentes, he is acting strange
- This is the look of something very strange and far from a formula to use if you are looking for progress, to see a team losing everything second half, after being 2-0 up, hopeless
- Sad to see, no stability, the low’s are so low that you start to wonder how it is possible
- Jordan James being subbed, if he is injured, ok, if not, a mad act
