Marti Cifuentes had to make a change to his starting line-up having Jannik Vestergaard sidelined. Caleb Okoli was back in after being out injured for a while.

Leicester could not ask for more. Jordan James scoring after just 7 minutes with a nice placed shot from inside the penalty area.

Leicester keeps possession and have a few chances to build on their first goal. There of course also a few chances for Watford, and they look dangerous enough to scare a Leicester team that does not look as it should.

Losing momentum, losing touches and not a clear route one to goal, makes it a mixed feeling about it all. Everything comes to light. The half time whistle shouts as Watford manage to score with a nice finish from Othmane Maamma. Watford are level and gets their goal in the perfect time.

To see this happening is difficult to accept. Players should be concentrated and on radar to avoid this in the end of a half. This is again an affair between players and of course management, not understanding each other.

1-1 half time.

No changes made for second half, and a tug of war out there. Leicester have a few soft attempts but nothing real serious as Watford defend themselves bravely. Then in the 65th minute what should not happen, happens.

Watford’s Mattie Pollock, assisted by Imrân Louza with a cross, following a corner. A header from very close range to the bottom right corner, can not be stopped and it goes in. Watford are 2-1 up and have turned to result in their favour.

Marti Cifuentes makes his move to try to solve the matter a few minutes later. Jeremy Monga comes on in the 69th minute, replacing Stephy Mavididi. Aaron Ramsey comes in the 75th minute to replace Bobby De Cordova-Reid. He also gives a few minutes to Hamza Choudhury and Silko Thomas, both coming on in the 87th minute.

Nothing changes and Leicester are again defeated at home. This looks very difficult for Marti Cifuentes, as he have no real momentum so far. The team results are inconsistent, like a cat jumping up and down. They are random. The team clearly lacks quality in certain areas to maintain a winning streak. Jannik Vestergaard heavily missed today, with him in there it could have been different. Marti also looks far from able to get Jeremy Monga in the correct frame. He struggles to advise players effectively. They lack that little extra to score the goals needed to win those three points.

    • Jacub Stolarczyk not really showing what is needed to be the first choice at Leicester
