Latest Transfer News, Ex Leicester Men Joins Lincoln and Exeter, Northampton Loan Move for Logan Briggs

Logan Briggs has made a number of important decisions over the last hours. He has agreed to a new deal with Leicester, and also made a loan move to Northampton.

This looks as logical decisions and part of good progress for the 21 year old. He had a good season in the U21 team last season and now this can progress further in League One action.

Northampton is a good neighbour that this season will be on a level lower than Leicester, being relegated from League One last season. Hopefully a good and sensible step for Logan Briggs, who have been with Leicester from his first steps in football.

Will be interesting to follow the Wales U21 international and hopefully he will see this as a great step in his development to return to Leicester next season as a better player.

Rumours were that the Conor Chaplin deal was done, but so far no appearance from the former Ipswich captain.

We will get a lot of transfer and potential loan news for Leicester related players going forward. Inside the club of course waiting for new additions as it looks a bit worrying to see that not a single signing is finalized yet.

Callum Elder had a good period behind him at Derby, but surprisingly released this summer. The former Leicester recruit has decided on a move to Lincoln. This will see him continue life in Championship football, looking a good and proper move for the player.

Among a number of ex Leicester players there are uncertain futures to look at.

Josh Knight, still with Portsmouth, but could be on the way out. Who would imagine this a few years back. That released players Josh Knight and Callum Elder where above LCFC in the leauge tier.

Leicester were said to have an interest in Dan Neil, but has lost out to Rangers in the race for his signature. The defensive midfielder left Sunderland as a free agent, and has agreed to a three year deal.

Former Leicester striker Josh Gordon has agreed a deal with Exeter, moving south to take part in League Two action next season. He leaves Walsall after a season on loan at Barrow. The 31 year old spent two years at Leicester from 2017 to 2018.
