Leicester have been linked with a move for Philippe Coutinho. The Barcelona winger could again be the player that Brendan Rodgers will go for with other targets Berardi (Sassoulo) and Madueke (PSV) both either outpriced or being seen as too vital at their current clubs to consider selling them.
The move for Coutinho would be perfect for Leicester, and we do see it as a loan, not a permanent deal, but if Coutinho could agree to a wage cap a bit below his Barce level, then maybe he could be coming in on a budget. There could also be an option to sign him up permantly with Barca paying on his running contract, but that might be a bit more difficult to accept, or even a pay out could see him leave his current club.

There are still a bit of time left to see something happening, and looking down the list of previous targets those players will not be available on loan and probably a bit to expensive to sign.
We are talking Premier League top level and that might be difficult to find as Leicester are seeking more players towards the end of the transfer window.
The Japan international Takehiro Tomiyasu is a name that looks like a possible target, but the Bologna defender looks set to stay at this current club, and Leicester do have cover in the squad to equal his level.

He has since leaving Charlton as a young top talented wide man been a bit on the fringe at his next clubs, Everton, Red Bull Leipzig, but last season showed at Fulham that he can play at this level and closing in on that survival after a number of impressive games. Still not linked with Leicester, but could be one snatched in front of Watford, Burnley and Crystal Palace all said to be in the chase
