Leicester are among the clubs to be linked with Burnley flank man Dwight McNeil. The 21 year old England U.21 international has also been said to have an interest in joining Aston Villa who are according to Birmingham Live ready to go further as Everton and Leicester also are said to be in the race.

The problem for Brendan Rodgers is to be certain that his squads logistics comes good with a certain Demarai Gray leaving for Bayer Leverkusen and this summer joining Everton and clearly shows that you cannot just let good talented players leave and then sign players that in real are not at that same level.

That is the key questions when you stamp a player and say he is rubbish or he can’t do it, just believing that a new face is all that matters in football, it’s so wrong, so totally wrong.

Dwight McNeil might be a talented player but given the game time he has received at Burnley, you might think how Demarai Gray could have turned out with the same minutes, hopefully this possible signing will be a good one as we do see that not every new face are guaranteed.

Leicester is in need of more new players to cope with their injury problems and hopefully those moves will be for players that can give the team an extra boost from day one.

Dwight McNeil has so far played 98 league games and scored 7 goals for The Clarets. His debut came against Bournemouth going back three years and he has since established himself as a first team alternative. He joined Burnley from Man Utd after being released from their academy, strangely in many ways, but luckily for Burnley that picked up the player for free.

The fee said to be the asking price is £25million and we just have to wait and see who will get his signature and time will tell if this is a good or bad move for those eventually brining in McNeil.
