During last season Leicester had a few up’s and down’s and over a period of time the position of Brendan Rodgers was questioned by media with certain candidates lined up to take over, one of them was newly appointed Valencia manager Gennaro Gattuso.

Brendan Rodgers has since worked his way back with a good end to the season and at present time his position at the club looks cemented.

Rumours regarding Youri Tielemans will not go away as the player is on international duty. Arsenal are seen as his next club, but still Spurs looks to be on the fence.

A few rumours about Leicester searching the market, but in our view, other clubs looks to be more on the pedal. A prediction of six to seven new faces coming in at Leicester over the summer is seen as a speculation, but with little or no movement at present, we believe it will be hard to get such a grand group of players in as options are valued.

In our list of rumours no player is at the moment seen as a hot or cool candidate to sign with all links looking cold. This can of course change, but Leicester honestly looks as the weakest link in those articles written.

We have seen a number of players coming into the category of a potential Leicester signing, but at present interesting names such as Charles de Ketelaere, Gleison Bremer and Noni Madueke are no longer the names linked closely to Leicester with other clubs being favorites.

The current promotion of Nottingham Forest to Premier League makes it difficult to believe they will sell two of their key players in Joe Worrall and Brennan Johnson, both being linked with a move to Leicester a few weeks back. This must be described as a dead link on both

The key for Leicester this summer is not to get more fringe players in but to get one or two signings done that will improve the first eleven. Players will also be more reluctant to a move if they know that the club is just adding you up as a cover.

Different media channels suggest that Leicester have put a price tag on Wesley Fofana, that they are looking to sell Caglar Soyuncu. Hamza Choudhury is said to be a loan target for West Bromwich. Dennis Praet is still uncertain of future and Daniel Iversen looks at options to avoid being third or fourth choice at Leicester next season.
