Jeremy Monga will leave Leicester for Arsenal, with talks nearing completion. This talented young player is a big loss for Leicester. The fee agreed is laughable low, reportedly between £10 and £15 million.
There were a number of different clubs eager to sign him up, but the player himself looks to see Arsenal as the club to join. They are often seen as a set up letting young players through and giving them opportunities.
Young talents at Leicester are attracting interest, including England youth internationals Darren Motsi and Louis Page, who are being linked with clubs like Liverpool, Man Utd, and Man City. It’s uncertain where they will go, but they aren’t the players Russell Martin needs to help Leicester escape League One.
They are still very young and need better environments than the tough conditions of League One football. Building a strong enough team to improve the situation won’t be easy, and selling young talent may help finance Russell Martin’s project.

Leicester are tough to negotiate with, often leaving talks unresolved. Instead of getting deals done, they’ve released players from contracts instead, which seems unwise. We hope common sense prevails to finalize the Jeremy Monga deal quickly, allowing both parties to move on and build for the future.
We are waiting for more news regarding different departures as this has to be happening soon. Too many players in a very unbalanced squad must be sorted, before this season kicks off.
