Looking at the list of targets and linked players we do believe that instant improvement would be better than buying players with a long perspective and view, and the current European run and getting a new chance in the Conference could be the key to getting better players in.

Euro winner Dominico Berardi is currently experiencing a difficult season with Sassuolo and not involved in Europe with his club and Leicester are still said to be a club close to getting this move on board.

Another player not really involved much is Isco. The highly experienced midfielder has a contract running out in the summer at Real Madrid and the 29 year old looks to have his future elsewhere.

We all know the quality of these two internationals and to get them both to Leicester would be fantastic. Isco would not be an expensive signing with the money to be used on Berardi. If Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers is able to bring in that quality the depth of the squad would be better.

Berardi play in a position that has been seen as a difficult for Leicester and with Marc Albrighton coming to an age that probably will see him as just a cover, Leicester need a player of that capacity.

Isco would be the player Leicester need to stop the pressure of seeing Youri Tielemans and his contract signed, it would probably also boost the chance of pushing up in the table and settle a squad with quality available.
