Brendan Rodgers made seven changes and rested a few of the players who have had different injury problems. The team was either way a strong unit and those given a chance from start made great effort.

We all feared Crystal Palace as they have a strong side and are in good form at present, but today and especially first half we have to say we were proud as there are players at this moment taking steps.

Luke Thomas was back from start after a time out with injury, James Justin also made the first eleven, together with Amartey and Soyuncu they are used to playing together and as we all know been talked about as England squad potential.

Mendy was back from start and today Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made the most out of his game, he was brilliant, especially first half, because this time he doubled his tally of assists from one to two this season and scored a splended goal, the first for him in Premier League.

To see his progress is good, and if he continues to convert and make assists and also contribute to wins week in and week out he will be a great asset to this team, but still a way to go as his contribution must bring wins in the bag and hopefully his progress will continue.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made a lovely pass to Ademola Lookman on the first goal after 39 minutes and when his goal from distance just before half time made it 2-0 it looked as a finished affair.

Going out 2nd half we would believe Leicester had the quality to yet again score another and put the game to bed, but instead Youri Tielemans made a bad mistake inside his own penalty box and a penalty rewarded to Palace after 65 minutes. Kasper Schmeichel saved and when VAR pointed to encroachment in the area by home defender Caglar Soyuncu, Zaha’s retaken penalty was also palmed away by Kasper, only for the Ivory Coast international to head in the rebound.

Leicester managed to keep a cool head towards the end and Brendan Rodgers made good quality changes from the bench that did see all three points being put to bed.

Leicester will see a lot of positives from this game despite having difficulties to keep the momentum 2nd half and again saved by a good goalkeeper. PSV next on Thursday, hopefully it will be possible to get a massive result away in Eindhoven.
