The January transfer window is close to the end, as it all will be over on Monday the 3rd of February. There are a few days left, but the business looks more or less done for Leicester. Woyo Coulibaly is the only player to have arrived, with a number of loan players returning to the club. Tom Cannon and Hamza Choudhury are gone to Sheffield United, nothing more has happened on the going out arena.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlein is a player who has been mentioned, said to be looking for a return to English football, being at Besiktas in Turkey since the summer of 2023. He has played 26 games and scored 5 goals, was last in action on the 26th of January in the 1-1 away draw to Antalyaspor.

Injured players will not be leaving in January, seeing rumours of Wilfred Ndidi, Abdul Fatawu and Mads Hermansen being linked with clubs such as Monaco, Man Utd and Chelsea. None of them will be leaving in this window, but what happens in the next is of course depending much on what division Leicester are playing next season.

We have seen things happen on the last day, having earlier reported on Luke Thomas being a target for Hoffenheim, but still not movement on that one.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Cuba Akpom could be in talks of a move to Leicester, but we just have to wait and see who wins the race, with Sunderland said to be out of any hope of getting this signing done.

Leicester had interest in Strahinja Pavlovic, but he looks to be on the move to Galatasaray. He has earlier said he was happy at AC Milan, despite being a bit on the fringe, and again very strange to see him moving to Turkey having Premier League as an option, but he is not at the level of Jannik Vestergaard and Wout Faes and would probably been a new fringe player with potential.

Lamptey from Brighton is also said to be a target as well as Evan Ferguson. These two players are still young prospects, both with special qualities that could be important for Leicester in the season run in.
